We had such a fantastic time stamping during the festivities today! I'm so grateful to have some amazing friends who could join me in my stamping room and play along with the challenges! This is our 3rd year in a row to get together on Stamp-a-faire day, and I look forward to many more!

PTI - 1960's
Now it's time for the mod 60's! This one was definitely out of my wheel house! Not at all what I usually stamp, but I'm happy with the results! I did a "Google" search for colors of the 60's and came up with this color scheme:
PTI- 1940'S
This was a fun challenge to do! Loved building a background with such fun stamps and even more fun colors! I basically copied Betsy's example, but changed up a color or two! Betsy said her design was fashioned after vintage tablecloths, and you can totally see her vision!
PTI - 1920's
Well, we skipped the Regency Era, it just wasn't coming very easy, so we'll go back to it later! Now on to the 1920's! Love this one so much! The die created for the rhinestone embellie is really cool! This was one of the sets I was super excited about when I saw the kit. Show me a girl who doesn't like a little/lot of bling! I pretty much copied Heather's design, the one thing I added was a black mat around the edge, I just think it is really striking with this addition!
PTI - Renaissance Era
This was a tough challenge for me, I had a little difficulty with the wax seal, but in the end, I think it turned out ok! I do love the colors of this kit, and really love the die set in it as well!
PTI - Ancient Rome
Our next challenge is Mock Mosaics. Susan and I changed things up a bit with the die and cut a "stencil" from paper for the mosaic portion. I stamped the butterflies first, used Versamark ink and clear embossing powder with the stencil and it all came together perfectly! I used the Life is Beautiful stamp set, and the mosaic die from the PTI kit, along with PTI Wet Paint Cuts dies to
finish if off.
PTI Morning Timer Challenge
Loved this challenge! We had a choice of several layouts and several color combos, the card is to be completed in 20 minutes. I probably could have made 2 of the same card and still had a little time left! Love it!
The colors used are Summer Sunset, Limeade Ice, Terracotta Tile, Smoky Shadow & Soft Stone. Great layout, super easy to put together, and turned out really cute!
Stamp-A-Faire
Stamp-A-Faire Opening Activites!
The theme is traveling, so the gable box is an assortment of candies from year's past. The purple sheet you see is a Candy Travel log which gives the history of some of the candies in their box. They also received a luggage tag, embellished notebook and pen!
